As a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Cathy has received specialized training in Adult Obesity Prevention and Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management through the academy.
Cathy will assist you on your journey to better health by helping you navigate nutrition and health information, weeding out what doesn’t make sense and helping you to focus on evidence-based scientifically sound information you can leverage to achieve your vision of health for yourself. You will be challenged to clarify, acknowledge, and tap into your internal motivation to change the way you are eating. You will work in a partnership to identify obstacles to change and create strategies for moving forward toward your goals.
Cathy grew up in Cary and currently lives in Raleigh at Lake Johnson where she enjoys hiking the trails and paddle boarding. For a while she lived in Ramat Gan, Israel, where she was exposed to a vibrant food culture and healthier lifestyle than typically found in America.
