Katie Godin, RD, LDN, MS
Registered Dietitian
Katie was born and raised in Aberdeen, North Carolina. She came to Raleigh, NC to complete her undergraduate education at Meredith College where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Foods and Nutrition. She went on to complete her Dietetic Internship at North Carolina Central University and began her career in Dietetics in 2007.
Her outpatient experience ranges from Long-Term Care, Bariatric Surgery, as well as dietary counseling in a Mental Healthcare setting. Her love for the field of nutrition has grown over the years, and she has developed a passion for working with individuals who struggle with disordered eating and psychological barriers when it comes to their health. She loves to explore the root causes of their behaviors when it comes to health and wellness and work through these barriers in a non-judgmental space. Ultimately Katie wants people to understand that there is health at every size and to learn to set realistic goals that meet their individual needs.
In her spare time, Katie enjoys spending quality time with her family which includes her husband, 2 boys (Blake and Dylan), and her dog Brady. Katie also enjoys cooking and exploring new foods whether at home or out to eat with friends and family. Over the pandemic, she found a love for virtual cooking demonstrations. She loves being able to show others how much fun creating simple and healthy meals can be! Her favorite place to be is anywhere outdoors – whether it’s going for a long walk with girlfriends, playing tennis with her son, or eating dinner outside on the back deck with family!
