Kim was born and raised in Naperville, IL.  She attended Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO, for undergrad, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics.  She stayed at Saint Louis University to complete her Dietetic Internship and then finished her Master of Science in Dietetics through Kansas State University.

Tired of the Midwest’s cold weather and anxious for a fresh perspective, Kim took her first job as a dietitian in North Carolina and has been here ever since.  She has gained valuable experience using evidence-based medicine in hospital and outpatient clinic settings over the past several years. Her passion for nutrition counseling has grown stronger each year.  Her specialties include weight management, health promotion, disease prevention, and plant-based nutrition.  She enjoys helping her patients achieve their health and wellness goals by making effective and sustainable lifestyle changes.  While lifestyle changes may not come easy to everyone, Kim takes an individualized approach and finds ways to make the journey fun and enjoyable for each patient

Kim loves trying new foods, cooking, wine tasting, yoga, and exploring new sights with her husband and their crazy-spoiled dog in her free time.
